FoxRaven Designs has many wonderful items for sale in their shop. Their designs cover many different types of media. Some of the items you can find in their shop include necklaces for everybody, charms and pendants, hair accessories, clothing, mobiles, and even original artwork.
FoxRaven Designs generously sent us a beautiful Amber Teething Necklace with Baltic amber chips and rose and clear Quartz. It is finished with a silver plated barrel clasp. I am in love with this necklace. The design is beautiful and it is well made.
From FoxRaven Designs website:
"Baltic amber has natural analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, and has been used for centuries in Europe to help naturally relieve teething pain, and calm and soothe colicky infants.
FoxRaven Designs amber teething jewelry is individually hand-crafted and reiki-charged in Connecticut by Maya, a Karuna and Usui Reiki Master. Maya combines beautiful polished Baltic Amber with carefully chosen crystals and healing reiki energy to create soothing healing jewelry for babies and toddlers. Each piece is one of a kind and unique."
Now I have to say I really had no idea what it meant that the necklace was reiki-charged. A quick google search and I found this information:
Charging and Reiki
"Reiki is a healing energy and the meaning of the phrase is roughly something like "Hi Energy!", or "Hello Energy!". See that this word is in fact a greeting and linguistically, it doesn't mean "universal energy" or "healing energy". It is simply a greeting phrase.
In reiki, in fact you don't charge anything. You just use energy to flow through your body and transits from your hands to the person's body where it hurts or where it is unhealthy.
However, you can charge other things with reiki. There are reiki boxes out there in which you can put your written intentions or any other thing that you want to heal (a broken radio for instance?) and then you charge that box with your energy."

Since Korben had not been happy that Aniala had been getting all these pretty necklaces we gave him the one from FoxRaven Designs. He loves it and never wants to take it off. We think Korben looks like a little surfer boy wearing it, especially since he has spent most of the summer with no shirt on. Korben is what you call a "high spirited" child and is extremely hyper. Brent and I noticed a difference in his behavior the first day wearing the necklace. Korben was just simply calmer. Brent keeps joking he wants FoxRaven Designs to make Korben an entire vest and have it reiki-charged.
The necklace we received has already been loved very well and it is sure to last for years to come.
