The Best Bottom one size diapering system is not a pocket diaper, not an all in one, not a fitted diaper and not a prefold system...it is the best of all types!

Best Bottom Diapers generously sent us a Best Bottom Diaper System to review.  This diaper can best be classified as an All in two (AI2.)  The diaper consists of an outer shell made of a double layer of PUL and snap in inserts.  Once the insert becomes wet you just unsnap it and snap in a new one, very easy!  This greatly reduces your laundry and drying time. 

Since the shell on the Best Bottom Diapers are one size and adjustable the inserts are sized with a small, medium, and large insert avaliable.  I think this is awesome since the inserts are the cheaper thing to buy!  We received the Stay Dry Insert in our system but you can also get a Hemp / Organic Cotton insert.  The Stay Dry inserts on the are made of 4 layers of microfiber and topped with no-pill fleece.  The Hemp / Organic Cotton insert is made of 5 layers and topped with Hemp / Organic Cotton fleece.  

Now if all this weren't enough and you have a particularly heavy wetter or need something more for overnights Best Bottom Diapers also has an overnight option with 6 layers of microfiber or a doubler option with 2 layers of microfiber which snaps onto the shell and then you snap your regular insert on top of it so no snaps touch your baby.  

I love the fit of the Best Bottom Diaper on Aniala.  Once I showed Brent how this diaper works he said "oh that is easy."  Aniala broke in her diaper the first time she wore and I was surprised none of her mess got on the shell at all.  It was all contained on the insert so all I had to do was dump the insert in the wet bag (she is exclusively breastfeed) and I was able to snap in a new insert for next time.  Since the inserts snap in there is no trying to stuff the inserts and no shifting around which is really nice.  The leg gussets are awesome!  We haven't had the need for the overnight insert with Aniala and it has held up well for us overnight - no leaks at all.  Had I used this diaper when Korben was in diapers I would have needed the overnight option as he is a super heavy wetter.
