**CLOSED** Babee Greens Growing Greens Diaper Review & Giveaway Ends 10/01

Babee Greens organic cloth diaper products use only the highest quality, eco-friendly fibers including 100% certified organic cotton and hemp/organic cotton blends. Growing Greens is our most popular fitted cloth diaper.

Our line of certified organic cloth baby diapers and baby products was developed out of a desire to provide an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional chemically grown cloth and plastic disposable diapers. Created in the Blue Ridge Mountains nearly ten years ago, Babee Greens, formerly Baby Greens Diaper Company, began as a small business with one big goal of nurturing babies and the environment. Now owned and operated exclusively by mothers, Babee Greens has continued to expand its sustainable and biodegradable product selection, with all of its products made in the USA. The diapers and related diaper products are manufactured in Asheville, N.C.

Babee Greens maintains ethical and safe manufacturing standards and is proud to deliver the highest quality organic diaper and baby products to customers and retailers worldwide.

Babee Greens generously sent us their Growing Greens Cotton/Hemp Diaper, a Doubler, and two sample bags of their Washing Greens Detergent to review.  This is a one size fitted diaper but it is unique in the fact that it is a two part diaper system.  Their diapers will fit most babies from 5 to 35 lbs.

Here is how it works: The Growing Greens diapers come with a contoured insert that can actually be used as a contoured diaper for newborn babies that are approximately 5-10 lbs.  The contour features an umbilical cord cut out.  You just simply lay it in your waterproof cover and you have a nice and trim fit for your newborn!

As your baby grows you use the fitted diaper and fold down the diaper and snap with the sizing snaps to fit your baby.  You can use the fitted alone or if you need more absorbency you can snap in the contour that you used on your newborn.  If you need any more coverage for naps and night time you can simply add one of their Doublers.

I love the Growing Greens we received from Babee Greens.  If this was the first diaper I had ever tried I think my entire stash might have just been made up of it.  Although I guess I would have still had to have All in Ones on hand for the hubby as those are his favorites.  He won't even touch a fitted diaper.

The Babee Greens diaper is so absorbent.  If I put in the contour insert and the doubler during the day I really don't even need a cover, when she wets I can't even tell from the outside at all.  Aniala is not a heavy wetter like Korben was so this diaper is wonderful for her without a cover.  If I had this diaper for Korben I am sure he probably would have required a cover with it.  The hemp just keeps getting more and more absorbent each time we use the Growing Greens Diaper.

The Growing Greens diaper has been awesome for us at night paired with a wool cover.  The last two weeks Aniala has been going through a growth spurt - a big one.  She had a doctor's appointment two weeks ago and we took her in for a follow up this week and she grew an inch and gained an whole pound in two weeks.  Well this means she has been eating non stop during the night and I pretty much feed her in my sleep now her diaper doesn't get changed overnight.  With the Growing Greens diaper not only has there not been any leaks Aniala's bottom is almost perfectly dry when the diaper is heavy.  The hemp seems to pull the moisture down into it.

I really love the Growing Greens diaper for several reasons.  One being that it is so trim considering how absorbent it is.  But one of the best reasons is it is not more expensive than other diapers and actually really reasonably priced for an organic and hemp diaper.  Even better than that if you purchase each diaper you automatically get your newborn diapers as well.  This system will really save you money!

The Washing Greens Detergent is wonderful as well.  I didn't have any issues using it on my sensitive kiddos clothing or on Aniala's diapers.  I was most impressed that I recently had a load of laundry that I left in the washer for about 8 hours and since I have a front loader and my washer and dryer are in the garage and it has been very hot here.  Well lets just say that entire load of laundry smelled like mildew.  Yuck!  I tried to wash them again with just adding vinegar to the wash and that wouldn't even take out the stink.  So I tried some of the Washing Greens Detergent, I used 2 Tbs of it and the clothes smelled perfectly fine after that!
